On July 23, Elf Indonesia, the fan club in Indonesia for Super Junior, held a gathering in order to welcome the Super Junior comeback in November. Super Junior hasn't released an album in nearly two years because many of the members had to do their mandatory military service. The event was held at Monas, a landmark in Jakarta.
Around 100 "elves" attended the event. Not solely to welcome back Super Junior, this event was also filled with a variety of other interesting activities, such as door prizes that were exclusive items from Super Junior. All the participants got banners, balloons and pins as complementary accessories. The event team representing Elf Indonesia often organized projects and gatherings for Super Junior. A photo session with Monas in the background was the main activity here. Participants sat on the stairs with their accessories and formed a Hangeul letter for the photo.
Some other activities also enlivened this event, but there were some projects that couldn't be shared because they were surprises.
The event was a great even for the "elves" and for all K-pop fans across Indonesia. The fans were enthusiastic to attend and didn't want to miss the opportunity to take pictures together after the event.
Elf Indonesia is a great fan club, even though not all the members were able to participate in this year's comeback event. Many fans are looking forward to seeing Super Junior return to the stage. All in all, the event was a great success.

The legendary pop group Super Junior celebrated 12 years since their debut, emphasizing the transformation from a young rookie group to a humble legend.

Every year Super Junior and its fan clubs around the world celebrate the anniversary together on social media, sharing memories, writing letters to fans and sharing fan-made videos and art. The pop group also makes the world a better place by donating money to building schools in African villages. Fans from all over the world also donate money to make this come true. This year, Super Junior and its fan clubs build their third school.
Super Junior was recognized internationally after releasing its best-selling album "Sorry, Sorry" (2009), and other groups have covered those songs many times.

Super Junior won most of its awards in Korea, but it has also won many awards and nominations globally.
The group was on a hiatus for two years because the members had to do their mandatory military service. The last activity they did was "Magic" (2015), part two of their special 10th anniversary album. Now, the group has finally come back!
